I'll be honest with you, when I got sent a link about Guyana's racing scene I had to look it up on Wikipedia, I had literally no idea where it was, Africa maybe?  Caribbean Islands?  As it turns out it is mainland South America, just above Brazil.

Really geography isn't our strong point, but cars are.  One of my very favourite things is to discover a countries car scene, or at least part of it and the possibility of finding more.  It almost doesn't matter if its new or old cars, where there are cars, there are classics, or at least people who want to look after and modify cars that other people are ignoring.

So far what we've found for Guyana is a great site for its motorsport with a selection of pictures of their 60's races.  Do those cars still live out there?  Is there more information on the net about it all?  We'll be doing some more digging, in the mean time you can entertain the idea that somewhere in Guyana there is a BDA Escort, or a historic Blydenstein Vauxhall gathering dust in a barn somewhere, waiting for you to find it.

Anyone know more information?  Please get in touch.
